Offset out of town attendees for 1000 miles of travel
Each event offset package includes: two special logos for use on your invitations and marketing materials, a detailed explanation of how your event has been pollution balanced, and confirmation of your retired offset credits.
Assumptions: Travel is the largest source of carbon dioxide emissions for most events. Each attendee that you add includes offsets for their travel to and from the event location, as well as use of the conference facility. We have the highest standards in the industry and offset 1lb of carbon dioxide for every mile of travel. To estimate the carbon footprint of electricity, heating and marketing your conference or event, we use averages published by the US Department of Energy.
